Kathmandu, Sept. 19: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) on Saturday confirmed 11 COVID-19 related deaths.
“11 persons, seven females and four males, succumbed to the virus infection in the last 24 hours,” revealed the daily report released by the MoHP today.
A 65-year-old female of Morang, a 51-year-old female of Rautahat, a 56-year-old female of Sarlahi, two females aged 76 and 68 and a 60-year-old male of Lalitpur, a 77-year-old female and a 75-year-old male of Kathmandu, a 37-year-old female of Makwanpur, a 69-year-old male of Rupandehi and a 45-year-old male of Banke, who were infected with the novel coronavirus, died while receiving treatment at various health facilities across the nation.
With this, Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll reached 401 and the death rate stands at 0.64 per cent.
